Matchday 20 in the K-League will draw to a close with Gwangju taking on Daejeon at the Gwangju World Cup Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Gwangju Griffins are sixth in the league standings, while the Purple Crew are second after 19 games. Let’s get into the match prediction. 

With the league’s mid-table being very tightly compact, three points for Gwangju in this match could see them end the weekend as high as third or down in eighth, depending on results elsewhere.

Despite having a man sent off, the Gwangju Griffins picked up a much-needed 1-0 win away to Jeju last week, bringing an end to a four-match winless run since May 25 (D2 L2).

On the road, the visitors are winless in three games (D2 L1), but that defeat is the only one they have conceded on their travels this season (W5 D3 L1).
