The Gujarat Titans surged into the Playoffs with 18 points in their 14 games, including nine wins and five defeats, while maintaining a net run rate of +0.254, which was the fourth-best in the league phase.
GT were arguably guilty of stepping off the accelerator after securing their Playoff spot, as they lost their final two group-stage games against LSG and CSK, respectively.
Notably, their last defeat to CSK came by 83 runs chasing 230/5, which stands as their lowest total in this season's competition to date.
