It's been a disappointing year so far for Canada who lost both of their games at the Commonwealth Games and have had to rebuild after several players retired after the 2016 Rio Olympics. Recently beat Senegal 75-56. They finished fifth in the last World Cup tournament and will be confident of making it through to the quarter finals by finishing in the top two after winning the Americas Championship last year. Canada have some rising stars in their squad including Kia Nurse fresh from her rookie WNBA season alongside the experience of veteran Kim Gaucher.
Greece have only once before qualified for the World Cup finals and finished 11th in 2010. They have failed to qualify for the Olympics tournament but did finish fourth in last year's EuroBasket tournament. The Greeks face a tough draw having to meet Canada, France and South Korea but only need to finish in the top three to reach the knock-out stages and the match with South Korea will prove vital for them. Recent form has seen them with just one win in their last four matches, most recently losing to Spain. They did well in the EuroBasket 2019 qualifiers and made it through to next year's finals in Serbia and Latvia. Canada can be expected to get the win over their rivals and the bet is for there to be over 128.5 points scored in the game.
