Ghana needs a point to win Group I and confirm their direct qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup from the African qualifiers, as they play Comoros on matchday ten. This match in Accra between the leaders, ‘Black Stars’, and the fourth-placed Les Coelacantes comes with our prediction of a home win with BTTS.

With 22 points, Ghana have a three-point lead over second-placed Madagascar to go with a goal difference advantage of eight goals. Comoros are already eliminated from the qualification race with 15 points (W5, L4), keeping them four points adrift of second place.

Ghana won 5-0 against Central Africa in a neutral venue last week to make it three wins and a draw from their last four matches. The only draw in this sequence was a 1-1 away draw at Chad in the group engagements.

With only six goals conceded in this campaign, Ghana have one of the best defensive records but will be wary of the threat Comoros present.

The visitors won the reverse leg 1-0 in November 2023. Their recent form hasn’t been great, though, with a 2-1 defeat in a designated home match last week making it a fourth defeat in the last six matches (W2, L4).
