Serie A strugglers Genoa and Como are scheduled to square off this Thursday in the 12th round of matches in Serie A. Only goal difference separates the two sides, with both being a place above the relegation zone. Read on for our prediction on the match.
Hosts Genoa are only coming from their second win of the season. They beat Parma 1-0 away from home on Monday and will attempt to win their first league game at home this season. Genoa will also be eyeing back-to-back wins in competitive matches since January.
The hosts have actually failed to win any of their last seven competitive home matches.
Como will want to take advantage of that particular stat, having already tasted victory away from home. The visitors will, however, be dragged back by the fact they are winless in their last five matches.
With back-to-back wins against Atalanta and Verona in September, Como gave a glimpse of what they are capable of. Cesc Fabregas’ men would then recoil and have added just one point to their tally in the five matches that followed.
