Formula 1 has arrived in Nevada for the Las Vegas Grand Prix this Sunday. With three races left to go, Lando Norris leads the driver standings with 390 points, 24 points ahead of his teammate Oscar Piastri, while Max Verstappen is in third with 341 points. Let’s get into the race prediction!
Lando Norris took another big step toward the Driver’s Championship title on Saturday by clinching pole position for the Las Vegas Grand Prix in wet conditions in Nevada.
The Brit clocked a time of 1m 47.934s, finishing +0.323s ahead of Max Verstappen. This was Norris’ third pole in a row, and he went on to win the last two in Mexico and Sao Paulo.
Carlos Sainz found himself in an incident with Lance Stroll on Turn 5 in Q1 but escaped a penalty after an FIA investigation and clinched P3, ahead of Mercedes’ George Russell.
Another underwhelming session from Oscar Piastri, which included a hairy moment with Isack Hadjar at Turn 12, saw him finish in P5, only just ahead of Liam Lawson in sixth.
Fernando Alonso, Hadjar, Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly rounded out P7 through P10, respectively. Notably, Lewis Hamilton’s nightmare season hit another low, as he qualified last for the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

With just Qatar and Abu Dhabi left to come this season, Lando Norris could place one hand on the Driver's Championship title with a win this weekend, and based on qualifying, he is the one to catch.
The McLaren driver has been the most consistent this season and is going for his third consecutive win. He has only failed to win one of six races when starting on pole this season, and we feel he will make that one in seven on Sunday. Our Las Vegas Grand Prix prediction is Lando Norris wins.
