Finland face off with Romania at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium in a battle between third and fourth in this Nations League group. With Bosnia and Montenegro occupying the first two places, it is a huge game with the winner possibly entering contention for qualification to League A. The Finnish side are not in great form. Just one win in their last seven paints the picture. They have also been relatively inefficient in attack of late, blanking in three of those seven, six of those ending with Under 2.5 goals. Home advantage seems to have been lost on them at the moment, having won just twice on home turf in their last twelve. Kanerva’s side have also characteristically failed to score in six of those games. 

The Romanian outfit are not doing much better at the moment. They might have beaten Finland at home in the latest international window, yet it was their only win in the last six. The visitors been poor on their travels, winning just two of their last twelve. What they have going for them at the moment however is their positive tradition against the Finnish side, against whom they are unbeaten in their previous twelve meetings.
