Emma Raducanu was given a wild card to play in this Open de Strasbourg clay court tournament. However, the British player has been given a tough draw and faces sixth-seeded Daria Kasatkina in the first round. Here's our match prediction.

Raducanu is 43rd in the live rankings and only five places behind British number one Katie Boulter. The 22-year-old has won four of her six clay court matches this year. The fourth round was reached in Rome where she was beaten by Coco Gauff.

The winner of this first round match will face either Danielle Collins or Sofia Kenin, both unseeded. To reach round two, Raducanu needs to beat her opponent for the first time. All three previous matches against Kasatkina have been lost but this is their first match on clay.

Daria Kasatkina is 17th in the live rankings and has only reached one quarter-final this year. That was in a hard court event held in Australia who Kasatkina now represents. On clay this year, the 28-year-old has only won two of her five matches.

Kasatkina has had two third round defeats in Charleston and Madrid. Her most recent tournament saw her lose in round two to Marta Kostyuk, who also has a recent win over Raducanu.
