League leaders Arminia Bielefeld look on their way to the Bundesliga. They have a five point lead over Stuttgart with a game in hand and chase three more points at home to 15th placed Nurnberg. Bielefeld won 2-1 away at Holsten Kiel in their last fixture getting a 92nd minute winner. That ended a run of three straight draws. Their last three at home have all ended level too . The reverse fixture between these two sides ended in a 5-1 away win.  Only one of their 13 home league games has been lost but despite being top of the league, they have only won six on home soil with six being drawn.

Nurnberg were relegated from the Bundesliga last season and are struggling again this time around.  They could certainly do with some shooting practice that is for sure. The weekend saw them held to a goalless draw at home by Bochum. 12 goal attempts but not one was on target. Only seven of their last 36 goal attempts have been on target. They are now only a place and two points above the relegation zone. Nurnberg have won four of their away games but lost six with a goal difference of  minus three. They do tend to get on the scoresheet though, having done so in all but two of their 13 away fixtures. 22 have been scored on the road which is only one less than their opponents have scored at home. Three of their  last five away fixtures have seen  under 2.5 goals scored in them. This looks booked for a home win and another step towards clinching promotion.
