Zambia will get their first taste of the 2025 African Nations Championship this Thursday, when they face off with DR Congo. The two nations feature in Group A of the competition, with DR Congo already reeling from defeat. We have a prediction for the match below.
DR Congo had a losing start, falling 1-0 to co-hosts Kenya in round one. The two-time Chan winners still come here as favorites, carrying five wins from their last seven matches.
The opening defeat also marked only the second time in 10 matches that they went without scoring. DR Congo are unbeaten in their last three matches against Zambia.
In the 13 meetings between these two nations, Zambia managed just three wins. Here they will be banking on their freshness to overcome DR Congo.
