We’re back at Ball Arena on Thursday night for Game 6 of the NBA Playoff series between the Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder. OKC beat the Nuggets on Tuesday to go 3-2 up in the series. Let’s get into the match prediction. 

The Denver Nuggets threw away a golden opportunity to take the lead in the series, having built an eight-point lead going into the fourth quarter of Game 5 before totally falling apart on both ends.

Nikola Jokic had a monstrous game with 44 points on 17 of 25 shooting, but he had almost no support. Jamal Murray got 28 points but shot a poor 3 of 13 from long range. 

Michael Porter Jr has been struggling with a shoulder issue that has affected his shooting significantly, and he, along with Christian Braun and Aaron Gordon, combined for 3 of 18 shooting from range. 

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder’s comeback in the last match was led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander once again. He finished with 31 points and seven assists. 

However, unlike the Nuggets, SGA received plenty of support, with all five starters, along with Alex Caruso, all ending in double-digits. 

Luguentz Dort was particularly impressive late on, draining three crucial threes to erase the Nuggets' lead in the fourth quarter. OKC’s bench has now scored 57 points over the last two games, while Denver’s has managed just 18.
