Denmark got their World Cup qualifying campaign of too a good start with a 2-0 win in Israel. That victory has taken them to the top of Group F with a two point lead already. The other teams in this group are Scotland, Austria, the Faroe Islands and their opponents in this game, Moldova. Not the most star studded of groups and one Denmark can win. The Danes reached the last World Cup finals and are in Euro 2020 this summer. The Nations League this season saw them finish second in their group behind Belgium, the only team to beat them. They drew with England at home and beat them away. They have won six of their last seven games and have scored eight goals in their last three home matches. Only one of their last eight home World Cup qualifiers have been lost.

Moldova drew their opening game in this group. An early lead was taken over the Faroe Islands but conceded an equalizer seven minutes from time. They have now gone 17 games without a win, their last victory being at home to Andorra in June 2019. Moldova had a miserable Nations League campaign this season, finishing bottom of their League C group. Just one point and one goal in six games and they face a play-out against Kazakhstan next year to avoid relegation. Only two goals have been scored by them in their last 15 away internationals, one against France where they actually led. They have failed to score in the last five but aside from conceding eight in Italy and Greece, three of the last five have seen them lose 1-0. Bet on both teams not to score in this match.
