Dinamo Brest won the Belarus Cup in 2017 and 2018. The first of those wins saw them beat Shakhter in the final and now they renew rivalries in the 2020 semi-final first leg. Brest are the reigning Belarus Premier League champions and currently 10th in the table with a win, draw and defeat from their three games so far. It's been a struggle at times to reach this semi-final. In the last sixteen, they were 1-0 down with half an hour remaining but eventually beat FC Minsk 3-1. The quarter final saw them take on Isloch Minsk over two legs. There were two goalless draws before Brest won 5-3 on penalties. Brest are struggling up front at present with only three goals in their last five matches.

Shakhter love this competition and are the present holders of the trophy. They have reached four of the last six finals, winning two of them. They had a 2-1 win away at second division Lokomotiv Gomel in the last sixteen. The quarter finals saw them beat Zhodino 3-0 on aggregate. The away first leg was won 1-0 but they didn't score in the home leg until the 88th minute, eventually winning 2-0. They are eighth in the league and like their opponents have had one win, one draw and a single defeat. Their last six games have all had under 2.5 goals scored in them and that includes a 2-0 loss to Brest in the Super Cup. A bet on under 2.5 goals in this game is the one you should be making.
