We are back at TD Garden on Wednesday night for Game 5 of the Playoff series between the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks. The Knicks beat the C’s on Monday to take a 3-1 lead in the series. Let’s get into the match prediction. 

The Boston Celtics are staring down the barrel now after suffering a 121-113 loss in New York on Monday, and in fairness, the series standings are an accurate reflection of their performances. 

The C’s attempted 48 threes in their last match and made 18, but still lost, suggesting that they probably need to reassess their strategy if they are to mount a comeback. 

However, aside from all their issues, the biggest is now the likely absence of Jayson Tatum, who sustained an injury late in Game 4 and needed to be assisted off the court.

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks have defied the odds in this series to this point despite questions about workloads, given their starters have already logged big minutes in the postseason.

Jalen Brunson continues to look like a man on a mission and was almost unplayable at times in Game 4, ending with 39 points on 14 of 25 shooting from the field, along with 12 assists. 

The Knicks also dominated the glass in the last match, pulling down 12 more rebounds than their opponent, while also finishing with 10 more assists than the champs.
