The Beermen, who finished the regular season with a league best 9-2 record, will be looking to exact some revenge against their opponents after suffering defeat at the hands of the Bolts in the 2022 Governor’s Cup quarter-final. The Bolts finished 7-4 in the regular season and got past defending Governor’s Cup champions Barangay in the quarter-finals to make it to this stage. This is a crucial game for both teams, as the winner would be just a single win away from advancing to the finals.
