Betis - Rangers: Form Analysis
Real Betis will come into this match in high spirits after holding Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw last weekend. That was their third consecutive match without defeat in all competitions and 11th undefeated match in the league. In the Europa League, Betis have won three and lost two of their five matches to date. One of those losses was against this opponent at the Ibrox Stadium back in week one. While their form in this competition has been fairly solid, the Green-and-Whites have struggled to deliver the same type of performances in La Liga. They are in seventh place with 26 points after 16 matches and are already eight points behind the top four. Real Betis’ major strength of late has been their home form. They are unbeaten in all competitions on their home patch this season, with a record of seven wins and three draws. As a result, the bookmakers have them down as the clear favourites in this one.
Meanwhile, Rangers secured a 3-1 win over Dundee in the Scottish Premiership over the weekend. That results saw them move within five points of Celtic at the top of the league standings after the Hoops were beaten 2-1 by Kilmarnock on Sunday. It also marked The Gers' third consecutive win and took them to 13 matches unbeaten in all competitions. During that time, the visitors kept seven clean sheets, including two in their last three matches. Rangers only loss in this competition came against Aris Limassol back in week two. However, they did drop points elsewhere by drawing two of their last three games either side of a 2-1 win over Sparta Prague in week four. While Rangers are unbeaten in their last six away games, it is worth pointing out that they have not won an away game in Europa League competition since February last year. A draw could still see them reach the knockout round, but we expect the visitors to go all-out for the victory here, with Sparta heavily fancied to beat Aris in the other match in the group.

Betis & Rangers Squad Analysis
Rangers have a few notable absentees for this match, with Tom Lawrence and Danilo Pereira both set to miss out with a muscle and knee injury, respectively. Ryan Jack is still recovering from a knock and is expected to remain sidelined for the remainder of the year. He is joined on the treatment table by Nicolas Raskin (ankle) and long-term absentee Steven Davis. On the positive side, while Jose Cifuentes was shown a straight red last weekend, he can play in this one before starting his three-match ban in the league.
The visitors also have a number of casualties heading into this match, with the most recent addition to that list being Guido Rodriguez, who is out with an ankle injury. William Carvalho (hamstring), Claudio Bravo (hamstring), Youssouf Sabaly (knee) and Marc Bartra (Achilles) are all set to miss the rest of the year through injury. Nabil Fekir has resumed training and is eligible for selection, while Hector Bellerin will also be available, with his suspension also only counting in league matches.

Our Betis vs Rangers Prediction
While Rangers have been doing well this season, their away record in this competition is far from impressive, and they will now have to face a side that have not suffered defeat on their home patch this season. We feel that Real Betis will claim the points here, though a draw will be enough for the hosts to progress. Therefore, our Real Betis vs Rangers prediction: Real Betis Draw No Bet.
