The USA totally dominate women's basketball and look set to win another World Cup. They have won all four of their matches in this tournament scoring 360 points and it's three years and 19 matches since they last tasted defeat. So far they have beaten China, Senegal, Latvia and then the other shock team in this tournament, Nigeria in the quarter finals. The Americans were always in charge in their last eight match and eventually ran out winners by 31 points only conceding 40. They will be looking for another dominant performance in this match.

Belgium are making their debut in the World Cup finals and began the tournament ranked 28th in the world but that will rise substantially after this surprising run to the semi-finals. They topped their group beating Puerto Rico by 50 points, then had a narrow two point defeat by Japan after over-time. Then came the first big shock as they defeated world ranked number two team Spain. That took them into a quarter final with third ranked France and another shock came as they beat them by 21 points taking command in the second quarter which they won by 19 points. Now comes their toughest task so far with a game against the USA in the semi-final. USA should be able to end the Belgian run of form and the tip here is for over 158.5 points to be scored in the match.
