Barcelona got a draw at Inter in midweek and that's enough to get them through to the knock-out stages of the Champions League. They return to La Liga action and going into the weekend are top of the table by three points from Espanyol. Barcelona are unbeaten in their last nine league and cup games and have won three and drawn two in their last five La Liga matches. They have won seven out of 11 league games this season, the only loss being 2-1 away at Leganes. Home form has produced four wins and two draws with 23 goals scored, 12 more than any other La Liga competitor. The last 42 home league games have been played withour defeat so Betis have a massive task on their hands.

Betis are down in 14th place in La Liga and only four points above the relegation zone. Their last league game was a thrilling 3-3 home draw with Celta de Vigo, leading 2-0 and trailing 3-2 before grabbing an 87th minute equalizer. Goals were a welcome relief having failed to score in any of their previous three league games, all ending in defeat. Away league form has seen one win, two draws and two defeats scoring just once but only conceding three. Their only goal came in the 1-0 win at Girona. Betis have had some success in the Europa League including a 2-1 away win at Milan. They have lost their last eight away games against Barcelona regularly conceding at least three goals. A home win with Barcelona ahead at both half and full time is the suggested bet.
