Atalanta will welcome Sturm Graz on Thursday in round four of the Europa League. The two teams are competing in Group D where Atalanta sit top, three points above third-placed Sturm. Atalanta are yet to suffer defeat in their group and have won two of their matches. They have a three-point cushion at the top. A win on Thursday will leave them needing just a point from their remaining two games to qualify. Gian Piero Gasperini’s men drew 2-2 with Sturm in the reverse match played two weeks ago in Austria. Atalanta are coming off a 2-1 defeat at home to Inter Milan in the Serie A. The loss ended a three-match unbeaten spell that had seen them win twice.

Sturm Graz are also coming off a defeat in their last match. Christian Ilzer’s men were defeated 3-1 away to LASK. This was their second successive loss in the Austrian Bundesliga and saw them lose their hold on top spot. Sturm have amassed four points from their three matches in Group D.
