Both clubs recorded league victories on Wednesday evening. It didn't look as if that was going to happen though when Villa went 2-0 down at Brighton and Hove Albion. They fought back brilliantly to win the game 4-2 and move into third place, six points behind top-of-the-table Arsenal.
