Sabalenka is one win away from a fourth consecutive Melbourne final and two away from a third title here. With her dominant streak against Svitolina, the world number one will be confident of progressing.

Sabalenka has won five of six meetings with Svitolina and is on a four-match winning run head-to-head. To set up this duel, the 27-year-old, a four-time Grand Slam champion, romped to a 6-3, 6-0 win over Iva Jovic.
