World number three Alexander Zverev will play world number five Taylor Fritz in the final Singles match of the 2025 Laver Cup. The winner of this match will add three points to the collective for their respective teams. Read on to find our prediction for this match.
Alexander Zverev lost on Day 2 to Alex de Minaur. The straight sets defeat ushered in a torrid matchday for Team Europe, who lost all four matches played on the day. They had taken a 3-1 lead after Day 1.
Now, however, Team Europe could have surrendered their title by the time Fritz and Zverev take to the court. They trail 9-3 going into the final day of competition. Zverev has won five times previously against Fritz.
Taylor Fritz produced a shock straight-sets victory over the in-form Carlos Alcaraz on Day 2. The win, his first against the world number one in what was their fourth meeting, saw Team World take a 7-3 lead.
Captained by eight-time Grand Slam champion Andre Agassi, Team World needs just two more wins on Day 3 to be crowned champions. Fritz has won eight times previously against Zverev and is currently on a five-match winning streak against the German.
Yet to lose in this fixture on an indoor hard court, Fritz defeated Zverev to lift the Stuttgart title back in June.
