Ajax vs Getafe Prediction & Betting Tips - Europa League

Ajax have it all to do if they want to reach the last sixteen of the Europa League. They lost the first leg of this last 32 tie 2-0 away at Getafe so have to score at least twice to have any chance of progressing. Ajax were minutes away from reaching the final of last season's Champions League. They lost out to Valencia on the last matchday of this season's Champions League group and are now struggling against another Spanish side. The weekend saw them lose 1-0 away at Heracles, their third straight loss on their Eredivisie travels. Home form is much better though with seven wins in a row since that loss to Valencia. 

Getafe are the surprise side in La Liga. They are fifth in the table but Sunday saw them lose 3-0 at home to Sevilla, their second straight loss in La Liga. Mind you, the other game was away to Barcelona. Getafe won six of their eight Europa League group games but lost home and away to Basel. Away form isn't where their strength lies with three losses in the last five. This is going to be tough against Ajax and the tip is for a home win, though whether that will be good enough to see them through remains to be seen.
