Marseille top Europa League Group B and travel to second placed AEK Athens. The Ligue 1 side are only a point clear of their opponents and third placed Brighton with Ajax three points below them. Everything will change before this game kicks off as Ajax host Brighton in the early kick-off. Marseille are the only unbeaten side in this Europa League group with one win and two draws. Their opening game saw them draw 3-3 at Ajax after twice trailing and needing a late equalizer to return home with a point. They went 2-0 up at home to Brighton in their second group fixture but were pegged back to 2-2. Marseille finally got a win when beating AEK 3-1 at home, tough their final two goals were both from the penalty spot. The Ligue 1 side have only lost one of their last five but only won two of their previous ten fixtures.

AEK can go top if winning this match. They have four points from their first three group fixtures but only one from thhe last two games. Their campaign got off to a good start with a hard fought 3-2 win at Brighton. They led 2-0 but were pulled back when the home side scored two penalties. An 84th minute goal gave AEK the away win. That was followed by a come-from-behind 1-1 draw at home to Ajax and the 3-1 loss at Marseille. The Greek side have only won one of their last three games with both teams scoring in two of them.
