Two teams looking to get back to winning ways meet in the early Premier League kick-off on Saturday when Wolves welcome West Brom to Molineux. The home side are 14th in the table with 22 points from 18 matches, their most recent outing being a 2-1 home defeat to Everton on Tuesday night. The visiting Baggies are 19th with eight points from 17 games. Heavy losses to Leeds and Arsenal outlined the size of the task at hand for new boss Sam Allardyce. The brief for Big Sam is to keep West Brom in the top flight. Having never been relegated in his career, Big Sam seemed a good fit for a club like West Brom. However, the early weeks of his reign suggest that his proud record may be under threat. West Brom failed to win 16 of their opening 17 matches this season, that sole victory coming at home. It means that they are winless on the road, where they have lost five of their eight games. Although that sounds bleak, the Baggies are unbeaten in two away matches, and those fixtures were against Manchester City and Liverpool. It's a strange season.
