Wolves will deny it but again the Europa League is causing problems for teams that have had to play lots of qualifiers. It's happened to Burnley and Everton and now Wolves find themselves having earned three points from their first four league matches. That has left them in 17th, a point and one place above the relegation zone. There's no real panic though and last season they only earned five points from their first four league fixtures. It's another busy week though with this game against Chelsea, Europa League group game against Sporting Braga and then a trip to Crystal Palace. Oh and if that's not enough it's the Carabao Cup on the following Wednesday. Can their squad cope is the major question.

Chelsea are 11th in the table but that's not as bad as it looks. They are only two points behind the Champions League places but seven adrift of the league leaders. That could be ten if Liverpool win the early kick-off game at home to Newcastle which looks more than likely. Chelsea had that terrible start at Old Trafford on the first weekend of the season. Since then, they only lost the European Super Cup on penalties and have a win and two draws in the Premier League, so steady progress. There was talk of Tammy Abraham going to Wolves last season, he stayed at Chelsea and has scored four goals in his last two league games.
