Wolves vs Arsenal Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Wolverhampton Wanderers dropped down to sixth place in the Premier League after Manchester United's win at Brighton on Tuesday. They look to extend their unbeaten run of eight league games when hosting Arsenal who are now seventh in the table. Wolves lead their opponents by six points and have a better goal difference. A win for them in this game would severely dent any hope Arsenal have of finishing in the  top six.  Wolves still have a good chance of making it into the Champions League. After Wednesday's fixtures, they are only two points adrift of fourth placed Chelsea (who lost at West Ham) and only behind Manchester United on goal difference. Last weekend saw them win 1-0 at Aston Villa, taking them to 52 points. That's just five points less than they earned last season when finishing seventh in the table. Wolves have won their three league games since the season resumed and without conceding. That makes it four in a row in the Premier League without conceding. Home form hasn't been as good as it should this season. Only six of 16 home league fixtures have been won, though only three matches have been lost. The problem is that they have drawn seven at Molineux and 13 altogether. Those draws may well cost them dearly in the long run.

Arsenal had a comfortable 4-0 home win over doomed Norwich City on Wednesday evening. That took them up to seventh in the Premier League though they could drop to eighth if the Sheffield United v Tottenham game on Thursday ends in a home win or a draw. Arsenal are still in with a chance of the Champions League, especially if Manchester City remain banned. A place in the Europa League is more likely though, whether it's via their league position or winning the FA Cup. One massive problem Arsenal have to solve is their away form.  They have only won three away Premier League games this season. That won’t get them into the top four and needs to improve. Only five have been lost though, with eight drawn. That number of draws is more than any other side in the Premier League on their travels. Their last away league match resulted in a 2-0 away win at Southampton, ending a run of seven away league games without a win. A draw looks a likely result here.
