Goals could be on the menu when Wolfsburg host Eintracht Frankfurt at the Volkswagen Arena on Saturday. The hosts, sixth in the table, pulled off the most eye-catching result of the midweek fixtures when they won 4-1 in Leverkusen. Frankfurt, meanwhile, 12th in the table, continue to ship goals but fought valiantly against Freiburg on Tuesday to draw 3-3. The visitors cannot stop conceding goals - they have let in at least three in their last five games - so a stopgap solution to the problem is scoring more themselves. With that solution is mind, the form of Andre Silva is encouraging. On loan from Milan, Silva is a striker of outstanding potential who has failed to live up to expectations since his big-money move to Italy in 2017. The first half of the season was a struggle for Silva but he's upped his game since the turn of the year, scoring seven goals in 13 appearances, including two in his last three.

Silva's numbers aren't good enough to scare John Brooks. The Wolfsburg defender was a rock at the back during his side 4-1 win at Bayer Leverkusen, keeping Bundesliga star Kai Havertz quiet. Leverkusen had gone the previous 12 Bundesliga games unbeaten before being picked apart in stunning fashion by the Wolves. Make no mistake, there is no flattery in the scoreline. If it wasn't for the fine goalkeeping of Lukas Hradecky, Wolfsburg would have had an even more emphatic victory. If they play with the same clinical panache against Frankfurt, they'll match their midweek goalscoring feats. Back Wolfsburg with a minus-one handicap.
