West Ham vs Tottenham Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

The story surrounding this match changed completely in the space of 24 hours on Tuesday and Wednesday. 14th placed Tottenham travel to West Ham who have slipped down the table to 16th. This was a match between two struggling sides but it's now  turned into the return to the Premier League of Jose Mourinho. The sometimes special one is back and this time in charge of Tottenham. He has a hectic start to his time with the club with this Premier League London derby followed by a Champions League game. He probably doesn't need to be reminded that on December 4, his new club travel to Old Trafford and three days before Christmas they host Chelsea. Mourinho joins Tottenham at a time when they are 14th but a win in this early kick-off could see them climb as high as fifth for a few hours, now that's really special!  Tottenham aren't in good form though with no wins in their last five league games and their away form is appalling. Spurs have just three points from their last 12 away league matches. Two of the though were earned at Manchester City and Arsenal.

West Ham are in trouble too and manager Manuel Pellegrini needs to get some results and fast. They were as high as third in the table at one point this season but are now only two places above the relegation zone. Such is this crazy league this season, West Ham are five points above the bottom three but only four off fifth place. They have just two points from their last six league games and lost to both Crystal Palace and Newcastle United at home. Both sides need a win here and Tottenham may well prosper against West Ham's defence. But how will Spurs adapt to the arrival of Mourinho? The best bet here is one on both teams scoring.
