It is back to business at West Ham United after their win over Everton and they have a home game against Genk in the Europa League, where they’ve done quite impressively so far. In Group H, West Ham lead on six pints from two matches while Genk have three points and are placed third. West Ham United recovered from the 2-1 loss to Brentford with a 1-0 win at Everton. They’ve now scored in nine of their last 10 matches and registered six wins in the 10. That win was their fourth in five matches and they have three clean sheets in their last five games. Their last home game was the Brentford loss and as they return, hopes will be on a third straight win in the Europa League. In their two group matches, West Ham have kept clean sheets and they’ve scored in both halves in the two matches.

Genk aren’t coming into this game on a very strong run; they have four losses and a win in their last five matches. In their latest game, Genk lost 2-0 to Sporting Charleroi, the fourth time in five matches that they’ve conceded two or more goals, and the second time in three matches that they failed to score. Four of their last five matches have produced over 2.5 goals and Genk have conceded in the first and second half in three of their last five matches. Going to this game, Genk have a very poor away run – losing three straight, and conceding nine in the process, while scoring four goals. They go to this game without defender Daniel Munoz who is suspended after getting sent off in the last group encounter. Paul Onuachu has been their leading light in attack and will be expected to deliver again here. Their only win so far was earned after Onuachu’s late goal against Rapid Vienna.
