West Ham vs Chelsea Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

West Ham United are still in deep relegation trouble and need to get a win sooner rather than later. After the weekend games, they are 17th in the Premier League but face a battle here when hosting in-form Chelsea who are fourth. The Hammers are only outside the bottom three on goal difference. However, 18th placed Bournemouth will dump them in the relegation zone if avoiding defeat at home to Newcastle United earlier in the day. West Ham can feel themselves lucky not to be in the bottom three. The only reason they are because the current occupants of the relegation zone have just one win between them in the last 15 league games played. West Ham haven't taken advantage of that with seven of their last nine league games being lost and just four points earned. They have only won one of their last five home league fixtures with jjust four all season. Only Southampton have earned less home league points than West Ham.

Chelsea lost the reverse fixture but are in much better form now. The weekend saw them reach the FA Cup semi-finals with a win at Leicester City. In the league, they have beaten both Aston Villa and Manchester City since the season resumed. Chelsea are in fourth, two points clear of Wolves and with this game in hand and only a point behind third placed Leicester. They have won eight away league games with 31 goals and only Manchester City have scored more. They have won five games in a row in all competitions, scoring at least twice in each match. Only one of their last seven away league games has been lost. They can continue that good form with a win at the London Stadium.
