Watford welcomes Leicester to Vicarage Road for their penultimate fixture in the English Premiership. The home team have already been relegated and are in 19th position with 23 points while the visitors are in 10th position with 45 points. Watford had a goalless draw in their last match against fellow strugglers Everton with the draw ending a run of six consecutive defeats. They have been very poor at home all season and have only picked up eight points in 18 matches at Vicarage Road which is the worst home record in the league. They have only won twice at home all season and is the main reason for them being relegated. Prior to their draw in the last match they had lost their previous 11 matches at home. Watford’s last home win was back in November last year when they beat Manchester United.

Leicester beat already relegated Norwich 3-0 in their last match to end a run of seven matches without a win across all competitions. They will fancy their chances of making it two wins in a row when they take on Watford in this match. Leicester have had a mediocre season by their standards but will be looking to finish the season in the top half of the table. They are currently in 10th spot but there are just two points separating them from the four teams below them. Leicester needs the three points in this match as they have a tough game against Chelsea after this match. They have found away wins very difficult to come by and are on a five game win drought on the road.
