Ruben Amorim is back in management and will be leading his AC Milan charges to Turin, where they will face Torino in a Serie A opener. Milan dominated the recent two meetings against Torino, and our prediction tips them for a fast start.
Torino, like Milan, have a new man in charge – Ignazio Abate. The manager has already had his mark at the club, with a 1-0 win against Carrarese in the first round of the Coppa Italia.
He finds the club unbeaten in six home league matches and will be looking to keep the run going. History doesn’t favor him, though, as Torino have just one win in nine season-opening games in Serie A against the two Milan teams.
Milan have had a good preseason under Amorim, who had a difficult stint at Manchester United. Now they have all to do as they look to bring their best to the competitive end of the season.
