Arsenal's lead at the top of the table was cut to just two points after Manchester City beat Newcastle United on Saturday. This North London derby away to 16th placed Tottenham is a vital one for the Gunners. Time for our match prediction.
Wednesday saw Arsenal cruising at bottom-of-the-table Wolves. A 2-0 lead turned into a 2-2 draw thanks to a late equalizer. Arsenal have only earned eight points from their last five league games but they remain top of the EPL and on a good run on their travels.
Tottenham have Igor Tudor as their new interim boss and he has an interesting time ahead of him. The Lilywhites are still in the Champions League but have work to do in the Premier League. Tottenham - Arsenal: Form Analysis
Arsenal led the Premier League by five points after their game at Wolves. They are fully aware it should be seven and failing to hold onto a 2-0 lead may come back to haunt them. The Gunners have won 17 league games this season and that's ten more than Spurs have achieved.
Saturday saw Manchester City reduce the gap between them and Arsenal to just a couple of points. Arsenal are unbeaten in their last seven league and cup games and a quadruple is still a possibility.
The last seven league games have only produced ten points. On the road, Arsenal are unbeaten in their last ten matches in all competitions. Each of their last four games against Spurs, last losing to them in 2022.
Tudor to the rescue.
Tottenham begin the weekend just five points above the bottom three. The gap will only be a couple of points if West Ham beat Bournemouth on Saturday. Frank has gone and in comes Igor Tudor as interim boss despite not having any Premier League experience.
Spurs last won a league game on December 28, 2025 and have only earned two points from their last five league fixtures. Home form has been hugely disappointing in this season's Premier League. Only two out of 13 games have been won.

Tottenham have lost their last two league games and now take on the table toppers. It's been another season with good results in Europe but a major struggle in the Premier League and with injuries aplenty.
Richarlison has returned to training and there's an outside chance Pedro Porro could feature this weekend. Spurs are still without several key players and so miss the likes of Maddiison, Kulusevski and Bentancur to name just three.
Another blow for Spurs is the absence of Cristian Romero due to suspension.
Trio could return for Arsenal.
Arsenal cannot afford another slip-up on Sunday. While Spurs continue to have a long injury list, Arsenal's is going in the opposiite direction. Martin Odegaard, Max Dowman and Kai Havertz all have a good chance of being part of this match, especially the former.
Leandro Trossard and Bukayo Saka both picked up injuries against Wolves but are expected to play. If one does miss this derby it's likely to be Trossard who suffered a head injury. Saka with his massive new contract has fitted into the number 10 role well but could end up back on the left wing if Odegaard plays.
