Not since 2002 when the LA Lakers were the champions, has a team won three straight NBA titles. Golden State Warriors are bidding to become the latest team to make that achievement as they take on Toronto Raptors. This is a best-of-seven series between the two conference winners and for the Warriors, it's their fifth final in a row. Three of them have been won but if they want to complete the hat-trick of wins then they will have to do it the hard way. Toronto had the better regular season record (58-24 v 57-25) and that means they host this first game and will have home advantage in four of the possible seven matches. It's a simple equation then, win your next four home games and Toronto are NBA Champions for the first time in their history.

Toronto had to come from behind to beat top seeds Millwaukee Bucks 4-2 in the Eastern Conference final. They trailed 2-0 in that final but rallied to win the next four and come into this final with plenty of momentum. They beat Golden State in both of their meetings in the regular season. The Raptors won in overtime at home and had a 20-point win in California. Kawhi Leonard remains in top form for the Raptors but they know that if they get an early lead, that won't mean they will go on to win. In the Western Conference final, the Warriors continually lost the first half to the Portland Trail Blazers but came back to get wins. The Warriors are expected to be without Kevin Durant for the first two games, both of which are being played at home and the Raptors have to take advantage of his absence. Go for Toronto to get the win here.
