Their overall record stands at 7-17, which included a challenging stretch that saw them drop six of their last seven games. The current four-game losing streak includes losses to Miami twice (116-114, 115-104), New Orleans (112-107), and most recently, Philadelphia. On the individual front, the Hornets are grappling with injuries, with Gordon Hayward (virus) and PJ Washington (shoulder) listed as questionable for the upcoming game. Additionally, LaMelo Ball (Ankle) and Cody Martin (Knee) are sidelined indefinitely, while Mark Williams is now doubtful due to a back issue.

Meanwhile, Toronto suffered their fifth loss in the last six games, succumbing to a 125-104 defeat against Atlanta in the second of a two-game home series on Friday night.
