Fifth placed Barangay Ginebra look to get a fourth win in the PBA Governors Cup Elimination Round. They take on TNT Tropang Giga who are ninth of the 12 competing teams, having won only three of their seven games so far. TNT come into this game looking to build on their recent victory over the San Miguel Beermen. Their opponents are in the reverse situation, having been beaten by second placed Meralco Bolts in their most recent Governors Cup fixture.

These two teams met in the quarter finals of the last Philippines Cup and it was Barangay who ran out winners on that occasion. TNT have played two games more than Barangay, so they really need a win here to keep alive their chances of making it through to the next stage.
