Game two of the 2023 MLB World Series has the Texas Rangers looking to go 2-0 up against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Rangers managed a thrilling comeback in game one to grab the early advantage in this best of seven format with a 6-5 extra innings victory. Texas was trailing 5-3 in the bottom of the ninth before a two run bomb by Corey Seager tied the game up at 5-5. His last start saw him pitch five innings while giving up only one earned run and striking out eight in a 5-1 win over the Phillies.
