World champions Denmark end Group II of the Men's European Handball Championships with a match against Slovenia. The Danes have already won the group and their place in the semi-finals is guaranteed. They'll take on whichever side finishes second in Group I. Denmark have had an outstanding championship and won all three games in their Preliminary Round match with 100 goals scored and a goal difference of +31. Wins came against the Czech Republic, Greece (who they put 40 goals past) and Portugal. Two points were carried into the Main Round and the wins have kept coming. They've beaten the Netherlands and edged past defending champions Sweden by a single goal before a more conclusive win over Norway. They are now unbeaten in their last 27 matches last losing in October 2022.

Slovenia are fourth in this group with four points. They could yet finish in third place and that would take them into the fifth and sixth place play-off. They won Group D in the Preliminary Round with all three of their matches won. Victories came against Faroe Islands, Poland and Norway and carried two points into this Main Round Group II. It's not gone so well for them in the Main Round though. They lost to Sweden and then Portugal before a win over the Netherlands. We go for Denmark to win this on a handicap of -5.5 goals.
