Sheffield United vs Fulham Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Sheffield United will be hoping to register their first points of the season when they host newly promoted Fulham, who have also not amassed any points so far. It hasn’t been a good ride so far for these two sides and they go to Match Day 5 stuck at the bottom of the log, along with Burnley as the sides with zero points. In their last match before the international break, Sheffield managed to score their first goal of the season, though they lost 2-1 to Arsenal and in all fairness, they had a decent game. After a poor start, they will be hoping to replicate their form last season. While they have lost each of their five matches so far this season, including in the Carabao Cup, Sheffield have managed to keep the scores low and only once have they lost by a two –goal margin. They have conceded in each of their five matches but in three of those they have conceded just once. Sheffield have bolstered their ranks with the addition of Rhian Brewster and they will definitely have the punch in attack. The loss to Arsenal left Sheffield winless in seven league matches and they have scored just two goals in the process. With two clean sheets in the last 13 league matches we cannot back them so much to keep a clean sheet.

Fulham too have had it rough this season; they have one of the worst defences in the league so far, with their only clean sheets this season coming in the Carabao Cup. In four matches, they have conceded 11 goals and will be hoping to tighten things here while working on attack as well. In terms of attack, Fulham have three goals in their opening four matches and looking at Sheffield’s form, this is a match Fulham should target winning. The problem is that Fulham have failed to score in any of their last three matches and they have conceded at least three goals in three of the last five matches. Three of their four league matches have produced over 2.5 goals and all of Fulham’s three goals so far, came in the game against Leeds United. They have however won each of their last three meetings with Sheffield United, with each of these producing over 2.5 goals
