Only two matches remain in the 2022/23 La Liga campaign as ninth-place Sevilla host second-placed Real Madrid on Saturday. Lifting the trophy is Sevilla's only shot at making next season's Champions League as they trail the top four by 19 points. Sevilla trail seventh-place Athletic Club by two points with the league position earning a spot in the Europa Conference League. The final La Liga fixture for Jose Luis Mendilibar's men is an away trip to take on Real Sociedad next weekend. 

The season will ultimately be viewed as a disappointment for Real Madrid despite winning the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Super Cup.
