St. Etienne are seeking to avenge their earlier season loss in the league to Marseille. Olivier Dall’Oglio’s men were defeated 2-0 at home two weeks ago. Les Verts have lost their last three fixtures.

They have conceded nine goals in this losing run and managed just one goal. St. Etienne are coming off a 2-1 away day loss against Toulouse that left them in the relegation zone in the league.

The hosts haven’t progressed past the fifth round in the Cup since reaching the final in the 2019/20 season.

Marseille have won their last three meetings with St. Etienne. The last two wins have had them as the away team. This strong run in this fixture should see the 10-time Coupe de France champions confident of advancing in the tournament.

Les Olympiens, who do not have any European engagements, are having a strong season and currently sit second in the league. They are, however, 10 points off the pace and will see the Cup as their best chance at silverware this season.
