Utah Jazz sit proudly at the top of the Northwest Division of the Western Conference. They travel to the Sacramento Kings who lie at the bottom of the Pacfic Division in the Western Conference and who are still looking for their first win of the season. Utah have a 4-1 record for the season putting them ahead of Minnesota Wolves, Portland Trail Blazers and Denver Nuggets in their division.  They are the overall leaders in the Western Conference. Utah have had wins over Oklahoma City, Sacramento, Phoenix and the LA Clippers. Their only loss this eason has been at the hands of the LA Lakers who are top of the Pacific Division.

Sacramento Kings have already tasted defeat at the hands of Utah this season. They lost by 32 points in the third match of what has been a terrible start to the new term. The Kings aren't quite living up to their names and have lost all five of their games. At 0-5 they are the worst ranked team in the Western Conference.
