The Sacramento Kings will be at home against the Philadelphia 76ers for the final NBA regular season matchup between them. They arrive for the match as the seventh best-placed team in the Western Conference while the Sixers are eighth in the East. The Kings got back to winning ways last time out and will be out to build on this. They defeated the Magic 107-109 away from home for their 41st win of the season. It allowed them to remain within striking distance of the automatic playoff places. The Kings, who are half a game adrift of the top six, have struggled with inconsistency recently. They haven’t won more than two games in a row since February. Alexander Vezenkov remains sidelined with an ankle injury and will not play here. He is joined in the treatment room by Kevin Huerter and Trey Lyles. The Kings, who are ranked ninth on offence, have averaged 111.3 points over their last three matches.

The 76ers are also coming off a win. Nick Nurse’s men secure a morale-boosting 121-107 victory over the Clippers in LA. The win ended a two-game skid. Philly have also struggled with inconsistency since Joel Embiid went down injured two months ago. This precipitated their fall from an automatic playoff favourite to now being a candidate for the play-in. They have won 39 of 71 matches and are half a game from the automatic playoff places. Five players will miss this trip for the Sixers. The latest addition to the injury report is Kyle Lowry who is missing his second successive match. He joins Embiid, Robert Covington, De’Anthony Melton and Kai Jones. The Sixers have averaged 105.7 points over their last three matches.
