PSG vs Strasbourg Prediction & Betting Tips - Ligue 1

PSG’s beginning to this campaign hasn’t been the 100% start that they would have hoped for but they have still managed to show some quality by bouncing back from defeat in just their second match. They lost 2-1 to Rennes but replied in the best possible way with six goals put past Toulouse and Metz in the following two matches.  Paris have the best xG value in the league so far with 11.18 mustered up over just four matches being very encouraging numbers. They also have the best defensive stats with 2.55 goals conceded so far. PSG’s home numbers are very good with them winning 19 and drawing two of their last 21 home matches in Ligue 1.  Strasbourg should be quietly confident though as they were the only team to not lose to Paris last season in Ligue 1. Strasbourg’s season so far has been dominated by the cluster of matches they have had to endure with both their domestic and Europa League campaigns. They fell just short at the final hurdle before the Europa League Group Stage but the club will be looking to take those encouraging signs into Ligue 1 this year and force their way back into the competition.  All things considered, Strasbourg have done alright so far with quite a weak squad as they have drawn three times and lost just one of their opening four Ligue 1 matches. They do have a better record than most against Paris in recent history but with just one of their four wins this season coming away from home, they could suffer here against a strong PSG.
