Paris Saint-Germain had to take the long route to the final, having ended the League Phase of the Champions League in 11th place, which forced them into the Knockout Playoffs against Monaco.

Despite losing their final game of the domestic league campaign to Paris FC, the Red and Blues were crowned Ligue 1 champions for a fifth season in a row this term. They have only lost two of their last 15 matches in all competitions (W11 D2).

Beyond the Parisians’ number 7, the reigning Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembele has scored seven goals, including the crucial opener in the second leg against Bayern. Desire Doue and Bradley Barcola have added seven goals and eight assists combined.
While Enrique should have his entire attack fit and available for this match, the same cannot be said in defence, where Achraf Hakimi is a major doubt after sustaining a thigh injury in the first leg of the semis.

As mentioned, Arsenal’s defence has been their greatest strength in this competition this season, with David Raya now on nine clean sheets in 13 games. Another shutout here will see the team draw level for the most clean sheets in a single UCL campaign.
However, the one kink in Arteta’s defensive armour could be at right-back, with both Jurrien Timber and Ben White sidelined. That does not bode well for whoever fills in that spot, as they will be up against the in-form Kvaratskhelia.
Despite having a poor season domestically, Gabriel Martinelli is the Gunners’ leading goal scorer in Europe this term with six goals, followed by Viktor Gyokeres on five. However, there is a good chance that Kai Havertz will lead the line from the off this weekend.
