The final four at the 2026 Volleyball Nations League will be decided when Poland take on Ukraine in the last quarter-final of the competition on Thursday. The White and Reds have already beaten this opponent in this competition, and we expect them to do so again here, as discussed in our prediction below.

After a disappointing first week with a largely second-string roster, Poland returned to full strength in Week 2 and racked up eight wins on the bounce to claim second place in the standings. 

Bartlomiej Boladz has been incredible since rejoining the White and Reds in Week 2. He now leads the team with 135 points in eight games, including a 56.72% attacking accuracy. 

Poland are on a 10-match win streak and have won 16 of their last 20 across all competitions. They have also won nine of their last 10 against their upcoming opponents. 

Meanwhile, in just their second appearance in the Nations League, Ukraine have been very impressive, having earned a spot in the final round with seven wins and five defeats in 12.

Vasyl Tupchii has been their most consistent performer in this competition, currently on 155 points, including 16 blocks. He is 13th in the leading scorer standings in this tournament. 

Ukraine have won nine and lost 11 of their last 20 matches. Their only victory over Poland came in a friendly in May last year.
