The Philadelphia Phillies can advance to the World Series with a win when they host the Arizona Diamondbacks for game six of the NLCS. After the Diamondbacks tied the series at 2-2, the Phillies were able to secure a 6-1 win away from home to give them a 3-2 advantage in the series. They now head back to the imposing Citizens Bank Park with a chance to close out the series in front of their home fans. The winner of the Astros vs Rangers game seven awaits in the World Series.

The Phillies are now one game away from a repeat trip to the World Series after they finished as the runners-up to the Astros last season. Similar to last year, Philly has caught fire at the perfect time and it’s been their home results that have carried them this campaign. They finished the regular season with 49 wins from 81 games and have yet to lose at this ballpark in the 2023 playoffs. The pitching staff showed up yet again for Philadelphia in game five, holding the Dbacks to two or fewer runs for the third time in this series.
