Their season record saw them placed third in the overall Eastern Conference table behind Millwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors. Seven of their last nine home games have been won.

The Brooklyn Nets finished fourth in the Atlantic Division with a 42-40 record and were 20-22 on their travels. This is their first time in the NBA play-offs since the 2014/15 season and they are ranked sixth in the Eastern Conference. Their most recent meeting with Philadelphia was on March 28 when they lost an away game to them by 13 points. They have injury problems coming into this play-off match with both Joe Harris and DeMarre Carroll likely to miss the game. Philadephia can be backed to get the win in this match.
