After only managing a mere 17 points in the A-League last season, this term looks significantly more promising for Perth Glory, as they’ve already earned seven points after six games.

The Glory clinched a 2-0 victory over Macarthur on the road last week. They have now won back-to-back league games, a feat they were unable to achieve last season. 

However, the hosts have yet to win a home game this season (D1 L2) and failed to score in their last two matches at HBF Park. 

Meanwhile, Western Sydney Wanderers have experienced a mixed start to this season, having earned just eight points from their six games (W2 D2 L2). 

Both of the Wanderers’ wins came in their last two matches, though, a 3-2 victory over Central Coast Mariners, followed by an against-the-odds 1-0 win against league leaders Sydney FC last week. 

However, the visitors are winless on the road this term (D1 L2), but they have taken all three points on each of their last two league visits to this venue.
